Overview

.357 Magnum bullets are the ammunition used by .357 Magnum. They aren't found very often in the Black Mesa Research Facility, and are found in a small box, 6 bullets to a box.

Also notable is that it seems that the model for the .357 rounds in Black Mesa reuses the model and skin used in half-life 2.

Gameplay

As .357 magnum bullets are uncommon ammunition, the .357 Magnum is seen to be a sparingly used weapon, often used for much stronger enemies than usual, such as Alien Grunts and controllers. The ammunition is also useful when accuracy is required, as the .357 Magnum has no spread. The maximum carry limit seems to be 24 .357 magnum bullets.
