Overview
The HEV Charger is a charging station for HEV Suit users, to boost their suit's armor capabilities. To use the HEV Charger, one has to simply press and hold the +"use" key in the direction and proximity of the charger.
Gameplay
Each charger has a set amount of energy, meaning that the supply is finite.
The chargers have a precise status bar on their screen to indicate the charge level, which runs out while in use. The screen also emits a green dynamic light that will turn dark and stop glowing once all the energy is depleted.

Trivia
The design for the Black Mesa HEV charger is based off an old HEV faceplate that can be found in HL2 and Episode 2. These were put there by Valve as an Easter Egg for fans of the original Half-Life, and to establish a link within the series timeline. The Black Mesa developers have chosen to use this old design to maintain continuity with the rest of the series.
