Overview

This is the finale of the game. Gordon Freeman confronts the Nihilanth, a large fetus-like alien, in its cavernous lair. The Nihilanth can teleport Gordon to separate areas on Xen, containing aliens, where you have to find your way to a portal back to the Nihilanth's lair. After the battle, the Nihilanth is aborted, and Gordon is teleported out of Xen by G-man. According to Half-Life lore, the Nihilanth's death allows the Combine access to invade Earth.
