Overview

The TOW (Tube-launched, Optically-tracked, Wire-guided) launcher is a mounted anti-tank guided missile system, highly effective against heavily armored targets. It is fired from a tube toward a previously sighted target. The missile will guide itself toward the target.

It replaces M198 Howitzer and M202A1 FLASH of Half-Life. [1]

Gameplay

The TOW launcher is used to destroy a variety of targets and must be manually reloaded after each missile that is fired. This can be done by picking up a missile via the physics system and guiding it to the launching tube. After pressing the "use" key, the aim of the TOW will automatically follow the player's aim. [2]
