Talk:History of the Mod
From Black Mesa: Wiki
Should we mention the leak? -faelnor
I think it is valid, cause it was a long long time ago, and was a chapter of the BM history too. But it is important to put an observation explaining the leak was an alpha of a very early version of the mod, that does not represent anything of the current version and is totally outdated right now. Anyway, it is just my opinion... I fear an horde of noobs coming to the forums asking for the leak after reading this. It's necessary an autorization of the devs themselves. --Conti 00:05, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
Of course - It is a part of the history of the Mod. If we were only to detail positive influences on the mod we'd be missing out on a huge amount of what has made this mod what it is today. We should of course detail what (to the best of our knowledge, as I personally didn't download it, what was in the leak to put some perspective on its influence in the development). EDIT: Ninja'd Chris
I agree that we should talk about the leak and not try and hide it, it's part of the mod history. --Cman2k 02:01, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
